Tone and tuning 
 
Lovely rich tone with an ideal balance between brightness and warmth and a very good dynamic range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440). This piano features the middle 'celeste' pedal which drops the volume significantly for quiet practice. 
 
 
Action and keys 
 
The Japanese built action is excellent and feels responsive and really satisfying to play with a nice even touch across the keyboard. Good for beginners and advanced players - action is not too light but certainly not heavy. 
 
 
Hammers and strings 
 
Very little wear in the Hammers and the strings are in excellent condition also.  
 
 
Case 
 
Previously with some slight sun fading and a few dents etc, this piano has been professionally refinished in ‘Paean Black’ by Farrow & Ball with a satin finish and looks absolutely stunning. The satin sheen catches the light beautifully - when in shade the piano looks almost black and in direct light has a stylish plum grey tint.
