Tone and tuning
 
Lovely rich and warm tone, with a little pleasant brightness and a large dynamic range. Really good full bass for an upright piano and the treble is clear and bell like. Nicely balanced tone throughout the registers. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).
 
 
Keyboard and action
 
The full 88 note keyboard is in very good condition and the action has been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard, with a light-medium weight - this will suit any level of player.
 
 
Hammers and strings
 
Hammers are in great condition and have been refaced to improve the tone. Strings in very good condition also (see photos).
 
 
Sound board
 
Very good condition, no cracks or splits. This piano has a double frame for added tonal depth and stability.
 
 
Case
 
A stunning and unique piano, professionally refinished in Farrow & Ball’s ’Salt White’. The matching adjustable stool has been upholstered with a suitably classic William Morris fabric.
