Tone and tuning
 
Lovely rich tone, with a pleasant brightness and a large dynamic range - plenty of power for fortissimo passages! Very good bass for a fairly small upright piano and the treble is clear and bell like. Nicely balanced tone throughout the registers. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).
 
 
Keyboard and action
 
The K-2 features the exclusive Ultra-Responsive™ direct blow action, with selected hardwood hammer shanks and 100% wool felt hammer heads, providing an extraordinary touch and feel.  The action uses some ABS-Carbon components, designed to be stiff but light, as well as more traditional handcrafted wooden parts, making the piano’s touch very responsive and with fast repetition. The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard, with a medium weight to suit all abilities.
 
 
Hammers and strings
 
Hardly any wear in the hammer felts and the strings are also in superb condition.

Case
 
Stunning black gloss polyester lacquered case, in very good throughout. We have buffed and repolished the whole case and it looks lovely and shiny, there are one or 2 other little blemishes but hardly noticeable - a stunning piano which will complement most styles of decor.  Matching adjustable stool included in the sale.
