It was built in Kawai’s main Hamamatsu factory in 1985, has been very well looked after, and we have now reconditioned this piano to be ready for many more years of enjoymnent. At slightly under 6ft in length it is large enough to deliver the real grand piano experience for players and listeners, but small enough to fit into most rooms. We really like these pianos and regularly have them in our showrooms, but they do tend to sell fairly quickly.

Wonderful tone that is bold, powerful, rich and crystal clear, with an even sound throughout the registers. Plenty of power in the bass and a beautiful singing treble - this is a piano that just loves to be played! It features 3 pedals including full sostenuto. Excellent dynamic range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).
Keyboard and action
The full 88 note keyboard and action are both in very good condition having been stripped apart for checking and cleaning. The action has been carefully regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight, suitable for all levels of pianist - very expressive indeed.
Hammers and strings
Hammers have only very slight wear and the strings are in great condition - see photos.
Sound board
Excellent condition - no cracks, splits or bumps.
Case
Stunning satin black case - quite rare! In very good condition throughout - the odd tiny mark here are there, but barely visible - this is a fantastic looking piano! The ‘concert’ stool in the photos is included in the sale.
