2002 Kemble / Yamaha K121Z - Mahogany Satin - U1
 
If you're looking for a high quality, full-sized modern piano at a sensible price, this could be just right! Built in Kemble’s Milton Keynes factory in 2002, after Yamaha had bought them out, it is very, very close in design to the benchmark Yamaha U1, and includes the same Yamaha action. It has a very good string length so good strong tone throughout and lots of dynamic contrast available for those working on advanced level repertoire. We really like the English made pianos from Kemble / Yamaha around this time and this is a particularly nice example. This has been only very lightly used, but tuned regularly, and is ‘nearly new’ condition throughout.

Price includes ground floor delivery within 100 miles, matching adjustable stool and 5 years warranty. £75 delivery for most of the rest of England & Wales (ground floor). £25 additional fee for London deliveries.
 
 
Tone and tuning 
 
Stunning bold, rich and full tone throughout the registers and a large dynamic range. It has just been tuned to concert pitch (A=440). 
 
Keyboard and action 
 
The keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated so plays perfectly smoothly across the whole keyboard with a light to medium weight. Very expressive and responsive for developing or advanced level players. 
 
Hammers and strings 
 
The hammers are in excellent condition with hardly any wear at all. Strings in excellent condition also as can be seen in the photos. 
 
Soundboard
 
As new condition.
 
Case 
 
In very good condition throughout, almost as new.

Approx 121cm tall, 153cm wide, 61cm deep. A full sized upright piano.
