Made by the highly respected Knight company in England in 1972, this would be great for beginners to advanced players, and has been well looked after by the previous owners. We just love Knight pianos and always try to have one or two K10s available for sale - they are among the best smallish uprights ever built - fantastic pianos and for many years were the only other brand of piano available at Steinway Hall in London. Tone and tuning 
 
This piano has a very pleasant sound indeed, warm and rich tone with a little brightness also. Good dynamic range for a fairly small piano. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).


Keyboard and action

The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition. The action has been carefully regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action, which will suit most players, including beginners. A responsive and high quality action.


Hammers and strings

Strings are in very good condition and the hammers have been lightly refaced and have lots of fresh felt.
 
Sound board

European spruce soundboard - in excellent condition, no cracks or splits.


Case

In a lovely looking mahogany case, this is the K10 Slimline model, designed for home use, which is in very good condition throughout. A matching stool is included in the sale.
