An ideal choice for anyone looking for a stunning looking European upright piano for a smaller space, this beautiful 'Sonatina’ model was made in 1993 in the Czech Republic by the renowned Petrof company. This piano has been well looked after but played very little and would be great for beginners up to intermediate players or indeed advanced pianists that need a small piano. We have completely reconditioned this piano so it as its very best for its new home - this includes a very thorough check of all parts, action regulation, tuning to concert pitch, voicing and for this piano a complete refurbishment of the case (which was quite faded in places) with Farrow & Ball’s stylish 'Carriage Green' colour.

Tone and tuning
 
It has a very pleasant warm and sweet ‘European’ tone with a little brightness, and a good dynamic range for a piano of this size. Surprisingly resonant bass for a small upright. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440). This piano features agrafes (string guides) for each note in the treble which adds to the tonal depth and is usually only found on grand pianos. Features the 3rd pedal - mute rail / celeste for quiet practising.
 
Keyboard and action
 
The full 88 note keyboard is in very good condition and the action has been regulated so the piano plays smoothly across the whole keyboard. Medium weight action ideal for any ability.
 
 
Hammers and strings
 
Very little wear in the hammers and strings are in great condition also - see photos.

Case
 
Refinished professionally in Farrow & Ball’s stylish 'Carriage Green’ colour, using a hard wearing paint, this is a unique piano which will add a touch of modern class to any setting.
