An excellent quality upright piano made in 2004 in the Czech Republic by the renowned Petrof company. Fully reconditioned and refinished in a classy ’Salt White’ colour, this is a stunning looking and sounding piano - great for aspiring or advanced players. Due to the quality of craftsmanship and advanced design features (e.g. the agrafes for each note, usually found only on grand pianos) Petrofs and Weinbachs are very highly regarded for their tonal quality and rightly so. In comparison to the ever popular (and also excellent) Yamaha uprights such as the U1, this piano has warmer and deeper tone and offers unbelievable value for money. Tone and tuning
 
Lovely rich tone with plenty of warmth and a pleasant brightness, and a big dynamic range. Very good bass (especially considering it is a medium sized upright) and the treble is clear and bell like without any harshness. Tuned to concert pitch before delivery (A=440).
 
 
Keyboard and action
 
The full 88 note keyboard is in very good condition and the action has been regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard.
 
 
Hammers and strings
 
The hammers and strings are both in very good condition and the piano has certainly not been played heavily. 
 
 
Sound board
 
Excellent condition, no cracks or splits
