Recently arrived and now carefully prepared for sale by ourselves, this is a very good quality piano made by the well regarded Samick company in Indonesia in 2009. Their pianos are mainly seen under the Reid-Sohn (a UK importer) brand in the UK and are very popular with schools and colleges due to their excellent build quality, reliability and lovely tone. Samick are now the world’s largest manufacturer of musical instruments and their piano making operations have seen collaborations with many top brands including Bechstein and Seiler in Germany. Their quality certainly rivals many better known Japanese makers such as Yamaha and Kawai but at a lower price point. This is a particularly lovely looking and sounding piano, ideal for beginners to more advanced players, in great condition throughout and with very little use so far - see pictures of hammers. Tone and tuning

Lovely tone, well balanced between warmth and brightness, and a very good dynamic range for a piano of this size. Has just been tuned to concert pitch (A=440). This piano features a 3rd pedal for very quiet practice.


Keyboard and action

The full size 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action, which will suit most players, including beginners.


Hammers and strings

Very little wear in the hammers (German felts) and the strings (Roslau) are in excellent condition also - see photos.


Sound board

Excellent condition spruce, no cracks or splits.


Case

Stunning looking light walnut case with a satin finish - a very stylish piano and perhaps ideal for someone looking for a more traditional alternative to the ubiquitous modern black gloss finish. In very good condition throughout and would perfectly complement most homes.
