Tone and tuning
 
Exceptionally beautiful tone - rich, warm and clear as a bell in the treble with no hint of harshness. The bass tone is superb for an instrument of this size - rich, warm and strong down to the lowest notes. Very good sustain and large dynamic range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).
 
 
Hammers and strings
 
Hammers are in excellent condition, with not much wear at all. Strings - great condition throughout. This is certainly a well cared for piano.
 
 
Soundboard
 
Perfect condition with no cracks or splits.
 
 
Keys and action
 
All original and in excellent condition. The action is very responsive indeed with medium-light weight and even across the keyboard - very pleasing to play, allowing for real control of expression.
 
 
Case
 
A timeless polished black piano. We have thoroughly repolished the whole cabinet to restore its original shine, resulting in a piano that is as stunning to see as it is to hear. The matching adjustable ‘concert’ stool is included in the price.
