Tone and tuning
 
Exceptionally beautiful tone - rich, warm and clear as a bell in the treble with no hint of harshness. The bass tone is superb - rich, warm and strong down to the lowest notes and better than many grand pianos! Very good sustain and a large dynamic and range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440hz).
 
 
Hammers and strings
 
Hammers are in excellent condition, with not much wear at all. Strings - great condition throughout (see photos). This piano had been in the same family since new and was very well cared for indeed.
 
 
Soundboard
 
Perfect condition with no cracks or splits.
 
 
Keys and action
 
All original and in excellent condition. The 'Renner’ action has been carefully regulated - it is very responsive indeed with a medium weight and nice and even across the keyboard - very pleasing to play, allowing for real control of expression.
 
 
Case
 
Refinished professionally with our bespoke ‘Imperial Navy’ colour - this piano will be a real talking point in any room! The matching stool is included in the price.
