A stunning piano with a timeless look and sound - this Steinmayer offers great value and build quality and would be ideal for someone looking for an upgrade from a basic first piano. Bought new in 2007 and very well looked after by the previous owners, we have now carefully prepared this piano to be at its very best (as we do with all of our pianos!) and this will give many decades of good service to the new owners for a very affordable price. At 118cm tall, this is just slightly smaller than the benchmark Yamaha U1 and is large enough to deliver a good strong bass tone - noticeably richer and fuller than a small studio upright (usually around 108cm tall).

Tone and tuning

This piano has a robust and well rounded tone, a little pleasant brightness and a good dynamic range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440) prior to sale. Includes 3rd pedal for very quiet practice. 


Keyboard and action

The full size 88 note keyboard is in great condition and the action has been regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard with a responsive medium weight action. 


Hammers and strings

Hammers are in very good condition and strings also in excellent condition throughout - see photos.


Sound board

Excellent condition, as new, no cracks or splits.


Case

Stylish black polished case, with brass hardware. In excellent condition throughout - just a few small marks consistent with age, really not very noticeable.
