If you’re looking a large upright for advanced level studies or performance then this superb 'Venables & Son’ 133cm tall piano would be a great option to consider. It was built by Hailun in their state of the art factory and is identical internally to their H 33 P model - the largest in their range of high quality uprights, designed by some of the foremost piano engineers in the world. They also build the highly many models for the highly regarded Austrian brand Feurich. As a young, and very lightly used piano, carefully prepared in our workshop to be playing and sounding at its finest, this offers amazing value for money - we think this is a superior piano to many reconditioned Yamaha U3s and it holds its own against some much more expenisve pianos! Thanks to its large size this has an exceptionally rich tone and a very deep bass -the speaking length of the lowest string is a huge 128cm, compared to 121cm on the U3. A piano that the new owner will want to spend many hours at!

Tone and tuning
 
Exceptionally good tone throughout, rich and sonorous, and very large tonal and dynamic ranges. The amazing sound of this piano has to be heard in person to be fully appreciated but please get in touch to hear a demo. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440).
 
Keyboard and action
 
The full size 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition. The action is superb - very responsive, allowing complete control over tone and dynamics, and has been carefully regulated so plays evenly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight. It feels almost like a grand piano under the fingers and would probably suit a fairly experienced player as opposed to beginners with small hands.
 
Hammers and strings
 
Hammers are in excellent condition, strings also in as new condition. This piano has had a very easy life so far!
 
Soundboard
 
The solid spruce soundboard is in excellent condition, as new.
 
Case
 
A stunning and timeless looking black high gloss case, in superb condition throughout. Slow close fall. The design of the large music desk allows some sound to come out at the sides also. Matching adjustable stool included.
