This is a good quality small piano, built in 2002, and an excellent choice for a first acoustic instrument or as an upgrade from a keyboard. Suitable for beginners through to intermediate players (around grade 5–6), it has seen very light use and remains in excellent condition throughout. Waldstein pianos are produced by Pearl River—one of the world’s largest and most respected piano manufacturers—who also build instruments for numerous other brands, including Yamaha and Steinway.

Tone and tuning 

Very pleasant tone - quite warm and rich and with a good dynamic range for its size. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440). This piano includes the 3rd pedal which operates a mute rail, for very quiet practising. 


Keyboard and action 

The full size 88 note keyboard is in very good condition and the action has been regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action. Perfect for beginners or advancing pianists.


Hammers and strings 

Hardly any wear in the hammers (see pictures) and the strings look as new also - see photos.


Sound board 

Excellent as new condition.


Case 

Beautiful dark mahogany wood case with a high gloss finish. In almost as new condition.
