A very good quality upright piano made in 1990 in the Czech Republic by the renowned Petrof company. Carefully prepared by ourselves to be at its very best, this is a stunning looking and sounding piano with a beatiful warm tone - great for aspiring or more advanced players. Due to the quality of craftsmanship and advanced design features (e.g. the agrafes for each note, usually found only on grand pianos) Petrofs and Weinbachs are very highly regarded for their tonal quality and rightly so. In comparison to the ever popular (and also excellent) Yamaha uprights such as the U1, this piano has warmer and deeper tone and offers unbelievable value for money. Tone and tuning
 
Lovely rich tone - well rounded and warm. A big dynamic range for a piano of this size. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440). This piano has 3 pedals, including the middle mute pedal for much quieter practice. 
 
 
Keyboard and action
 
The full 88 note keyboard is in very good condition and the action has been regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard - nice and responsive for all levels of player.
 
 
Hammers and strings
 
The hammers and strings are both in very good condition and the piano has certainly not been played heavily. 
 
 
Sound board
 
Excellent condition, no cracks or splits
 
 
Case
 
A stylish polished black case, in very good condition throughout with just very minor signs of age. This piano has a really nice full length music desk. Matching stool as pictured is included.
 
 
Dimensions 
 
118cm tall x 55 deep x 144 wide (widest point at top lid). A good sized upright  - great sound and feel, with plenty of power without being too imposing for a domestic setting.
