This lovely 2010 Winchester UP123 offers a rich, full tone and a smooth, responsive touch that’s a real pleasure to play. Housed in a smart high-gloss black cabinet, it also looks as elegant as it sounds. A dependable, good quality instrument that offers excellent value for money, this would suit players of all levels, would happily see someone through all of their grades, and is an ideal step up for anyone moving on from a digital or smaller starter piano. We have carefully prepared this piano to be at its very best and give many years of good service to the new owners.

Tone and tuning 
 
This piano has a very pleasant well-rounded and strong tone, nicely balanced between brightness and warmth - deep and strong in the bass through to a clear singing treble, and excellent dynamic range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440). It also features the middle mute pedal which drops the volume significantly for quiet practice. 


Keyboard and action

The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action which is very responsive indeed - suitable for advanced level playing. 
 
 
Hammers and strings

Strings in perfect condition and hardly any wear at all in the hammers.


Sound board

Solid spruce soundboard in excellent as new condition.


Case

The black gloss case is in excellent condition throughout - a few small marks consistent with age but only noticeable very close up. Matching adjustable stool as pictured is included in the sale.
