If you're looking for a taller upright piano with high quality design and construction at an affordable price then this would be a great choice. Very similar in design and performance to the ever popular Yamaha U3, but at a lower price, this instrument is crafted with high quality parts such as Royal George hammer felts and German Roslau strings and caters for the more discerning pianist. Made in 1991 in South Korea by Young Chang (who have previously collaborated with the likes of Yamaha and Steinway) it provides a rich and pleasant tone, and a smooth and highly responsive action which is a a delight to perform on. Very well looked after by the previous owners and now thoroughly checked and reconditioned by ourselves, this piano would be perfect for beginners to advanced players alike and an ideal upgrade from an older upright or a small starter piano.

Tone and tuning
Lovely big and rich tone that is well balanced between brightness and warmth and even throughout the registers. Very good dynamic range. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440). This piano has 3 pedals inlcuding the middle ‘mute’ pedal for very quiet practice.
Keyboard and action
The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the action has been regulated so plays smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight and very responsive action. Well suited to advanced level playing, but equally perfect for beginners.
Hammers and strings
These are both in excellent condition - see photos.
Sound board
Excellent condition solid spruce, no cracks or splits.
Case
Stunning looking dark mahogany case, with high gloss polyester lacquer, which is in excellent condition throughout. We have buffed the whole case to restore its shine.
